Reverse Bucket List

I’m the kind of person who always wants more. It’s something I don’t like about myself and, ironically, I want to be more than that. While it’s so great to have aspirations and goals, I rarely take the time to sit down and think about what I’ve achieved and done in my life that I’d always wanted to do – it’s always ‘I want to go here” or “I really want this product”.
So rather than posting a normal bucket list post I thought I’d do what they call a “reverse bucket list”, focusing on the things I have done that I’d always wanted to, being grateful for the experiences I have had, and celebrating the things that I’ve managed to tick off my list.

  1. Got married
  2. Done jury service
  3. Been on an all inclusive holiday
  4. Ordered a drink (or ten) from a swim-up bar
  5. Rode in a Gondola
  6. Visited Lake Como
  7. Been on holiday with my friends
  8. Started a blog
  9. Gotten lost in Venice
  10. Driven around rural France
  11. Visited Bordeaux
  12. Been in the audience of a live taping of Strictly Come Dancing
  13. Driven a boat
  14. Rode on a motorbike
  15. Visited the Lake District
  16. Gotten a massage
  17. Visited a cat cafe
  18. Stroked a penguin
  19. Lay in a hammock
  20. Swam in an infinity pool

What’s on your list?

I love this!! It is a really positive way to realise all the amazing things you have done rather than a daunting list of everything you want to achieve. Your travels sound incredible and I can’t believe you got to stroke a penguin!! Than you so much for sharing!xx

Wow this is such a good idea for a post! Will maybe be doing one myself because it’s always important to be grateful for everything we’ve managed to do in our lives..❤️
