Green People were kind enough to send me a couple of their products to test out and review. I received two Manuka & Lemon Tea Tree products – a hand wash, and hand cream. Both immensely moisturising and good for the skin, if you’re looking for great hand care for winter – look no further.
All of Green People’s products are natural and organic, free from SLS, parabens, phthalates, alcohol, harsh foaming agents, irritating emulsifiers, synthetic fragrance, petrochemicals, among many other things. Not only that, but they’re also cruelty-free, and many of their products are also vegan.
I was quite surprised at how much I loved this hand wash. I honestly didn’t think that a hand wash could be particularly special to put it above the rest. But I have to say, Green People proved me wrong.
This is the only hand wash I’ve used which has ever left my hands feeling more moisturised and hydrated afterwards. It lathers so well and it has a really soft, silky feeling to it which is just gorgeous. Many hand washes I’ve tried tend to dry my hands out but this one seems to do the opposite. It’s PH balanced and so gentle on the hands, and the manuka and tea tree kills harmful bacteria super quickly so it would be great to have in either the kitchen or the bathroom.
Manuka & Lemon Tea Tree Hand Cream – £12.50
Firstly, I am completely obsessed with the gorgeous citrus scent. It’s a 50ml tube which is a great size. Big enough to feel like good value for money, but still small enough to fit inside my handbag so I can take it with me on the go. A little goes a long way too, so it’s going to last quite a long time. The Lemon Tea Tree oil is great for healing dry hands, and it also has squalane (from Olive) and Shea Butter which is great for moisturising and keeping the hands hydrated and nourished. I took this with me on a very cold trip to Copenhagen and it was perfect for the occasion.
Another noteworthy thing to mention about Green People is their packaging. All of the packaging is recyclable, from the cardboard box right down to the plastic tubes of their products. They also make much of it from recycled materials. Also included in the package is 100% biodegradable corn starch packing nuggets. These keep everything safe during transit, and the nuggets dissolve in water so there is literally no waste at all.
Overall I’m really pleased with both of these products – they tick all the boxes in my opinion. If I were in the position to spend £13/£12.50 on hand care, I would definitely purchase these two items.
