It's been a while since I posted a life update, or anything for that matter. I've been hit with a massive case of writer's block over the past few weeks and I've just had absolutely zero motivation to write or post anything on here, so I figured I'd do more of a chatty post letting you know what I've been up to recently.
Most of the time when you ask someone who their favourite Friends character is, I often find the answer is usually Rachel or Chandler, it's rarely Phoebe or Joey. I think a lot of the time they're seen more as secondary characters purely there to provide comic relief alongside the two main couples; Monica & … Continue reading Why Phoebe and Joey were the best FRIENDS characters
What is hygge? I think the best way to describe hygge is as a feeling, an atmosphere, or perhaps a memory. Hygge is about feeling at home, feeling safe, and being with the people we love. Hygge is a Danish term, but the word 'hygge' originates from a Norwegian word meaning 'well being'. (Also, it's … Continue reading 8 ways to be more hygge
If you read my most recent post, you'll know that I'm making 2018 the Year of Kimberley. My motivation levels are normally less than useless, so I find it impossible to achieve goals I set for myself because, as a typical Aries, I'm so bloody impatient. Whatever I set my mind to, unless I see … Continue reading Celebrating the smaller victories
I don't want to be one of those "look how quickly the year has gone, Barbara" kind of people, but how quickly has this year gone!? Maybe I'm just getting older. It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in 2017, still wounded from all the people we lost in 2016 and full of hope … Continue reading Goodbye 2017, Hello 2018

"a narcissistic actress" Am I narcissistic? If you make a judgement from that definition then maybe, but admiration? Certainly not. If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you may have seen me mention a couple of thousand times that I recently met one of my heroes. I ONLY WENT AND MET BLOODY Y2J CHRIS JERICHO DIDN'T I!? Yep, you heard me correctly. There I am, looking very gormless next to Y2J. CHRIS JERICHO KNOWS … Continue reading Meeting Your Heroes: Expectation Vs Reality
I've been a fan of Fozzy since my early teen years. I grew up on the likes of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd from my dad's influence, and even though at times I can be more Taylor Swift than Taylor Momsen, I am mostly still that way inclined. Most people's childhood crushes were the likes … Continue reading Fozzy – ‘Judas’ Album Review & First Impressions
For those of you who may have clicked on this thinking I'm announcing that I'm pregnant - I'm sorry. That is not happening. *shudder*. But a little clickbait never hurt anyone right?! My exciting news is that I've actually written a guest post for icelolly.com! It's the first guest post I've ever done, and as … Continue reading I Have Exciting News!
Impractical Jokers is one of my all-time favourite TV shows. I don't mean to be that kind of person but it's been the light through some of my darkest days, and it never fails to make me smile. Not only are they hilariously funny, but they all seem so down to earth and so genuine, I would … Continue reading The Tenderloins “Where’s Larry?” Tour – Cardiff 08/10/17
This is gonna be a difficult one to write. I don't really know how it's gonna go, so I think I'll just bang my head against the keyboard for a bit and see what comes out on the screen. I've been away from here for a couple of weeks because I don't really know where … Continue reading An Honest Mental Health Post
As I get older, I find myself trying to cling onto my youth more than I ever have before. When I was younger I couldn't wait to be older and have my independence, and there are so many things I would love to tell my younger self now, so I thought I'd write a few … Continue reading Advice to My Younger Self
